Job Summary: The Design Support position will include:

Hands on assembly and repair of electromechanical prototypes and internal test jigs (includes use of basic tools and soldering equipment and requires good up-close eyesight for working with small components)

Hands on testing of products to determine mechanical, thermal, and electrical limits and documenting results

Testing software releases and recording bugs

Documentation that could include Bills of Materials, Assembly & Testing Procedures, and documentation 

Identify problems, propose suitable solutions, and implement the solutions

Handle logistics such as ordering and shipping

Maintain professionalism in the workplace, remain composed under pressure while meeting deadlines, and maintain a regular schedule with occasional extended hours

On occasion, some travel could be required

Position may also include other related projects, or other tasks as required by Spyder Controls
