Electronics Assembly Technician

Job Summary

  • Hands-on assembly of electronic components and modules 

  • Soldering electrical components

  • May include component programming

  • Carries out written assembly and testing procedures

  • Maintain quality workmanship 

  • Work efficiently to meet production deadlines

  • Position may also include other tasks as required by Spyder Controls

Mon - Thurs

8 am - 12 pm

Compensation

Annual compensation will range from $35,000 to $55,000 depending on applicants' education, experience, credentials, and performance.

Applicant Qualifications

  • Legally entitled to live and work in Canada

  • Use of basic tools and some mechanical equipment

  • Attention to detail 

  • Good eyesight for working with smaller electrical components

  • Effective verbal communication skills

  • Experience using computers

  • Maintaining a regular schedule with occasional extended hours

  • Enjoy people and interaction in the professional environment

  • Self-motivated to initiate and complete tasks and solve problems

Desirable (But Not Required) Attributes Include

  • Electronics, soldering, or electronics production experience
