

Programming Integration Project Manager
Job Summary

The Programming Integration Project Manager position will include:
-
A background in project management with leadership experience
-
Effectively and assertively handle communication and virtual/in-person meetings with customers
-
Accurately assess the scope of a project, including all client requirements, and develop project proposals, tasks, and schedules
-
Organize, manage, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously between several customers and teammates
-
Track ongoing project progress and ensure that projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budget
-
Oversee and manage programming team and staff resources. Delegate and prioritize the workload appropriately based on skills and expertise
-
Consistently and effectively test, troubleshoot, and identify programming bugs
-
Identify problems, propose and implement suitable solutions and maintain documentation
-
Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, taking initiative, implementing new structures and processes
-
Effectively communicate project status to clients and key project participants
-
Be willing and able to travel in Canada and the US on flexible work hours
-
Position may also include other related projects or other tasks as required by Spyder Controls

Compensation
Annual compensation will range from $65,000 to $90,000 depending on applicant education, experience, credentials and performance. Benefits include a Health Spending Account, Pooled Insurance benefits and TFSA or RRSP matching.
Applicant Qualifications

Legally entitled to live and work in Canada, travel to the US, and live within 45 minutes of Lacombe, AB

5+ years of relevant experience

Leadership, mentorship, and organizational skills

Demonstrable problem-solving project management experience and skills
-
Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
-
Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills

Independently motivated, and works well in a team environment
-
High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
-
Maintain professionalism in the workplace, remains composed under pressure while meeting deadlines, maintain regular schedule with occasional extended hours
Desirable (But Not Required) Attributes Include

Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar

Aptitude and interest in graphic design
