Receptionist / Administrative

Job Summary

  • The Receptionist / Administrative role will include:

  • Answering phone calls, identify the nature of the call, and forwarding phone calls to appropriate staff

  • Capture and process service orders on SAP and Shopify

  • Respond to client emails

  • Meet and greet clients

  • Set up conference rooms for meetings

  • Process paperwork on the computer network

  • Work with various staff on administrative tasks

  • Office organizational duties

  • Keep reception area tidy

  • Position may also include other tasks as required by Spyder Controls

8 am - 5 pm

Mon - Thurs


8 am - 5 pm*

Annual compensation will range from $40,000 to $55,000 depending on applicant education, experience, credentials and performance.

Applicant Qualifications

  • Legally entitled to live and work in Canada

  • Passion for great customer service

  • A strong sense of customer service and very good customer communication skills

  • Basic computer skills (Word and Excel proficiency required)

  • Remains composed under pressure, calm and patient demeaner when dealing with difficult calls/clients

  • Maintaining regular schedule with occasional extended hours

  • Carrying a professional and positive image and attitude regarding Spyder Controls and its products

Desirable (But Not Required) Attributes Include

  • Receptionist, administrative, or customer service background
